19.01.2012 The first training camp of the year for Synergy is set to begin tomorrow, on Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The Russian sailing team continues to prepare for new season of the RC44 Championship Tour series. Synergy plans to consolidate the achievements, that were reached at the camp in December 2011, and to work on maneuvering and teamwork during the session, since 20 to 26 January. The crew consists of 12 yachtsmen. Synergy's second training camp of the year is scheduled for 4-7 February. It will be staged just before the kick off of the RC44 Puerto Calero Cup regatta, the very first event of the RC44 Championship Tour-2012. The series includes 5 events, in Puerto Calero, Cascais, Gmunden, Marstrand and Rovinj. The ultimate regatta of the season will be named the RC44 World Championship. The forecast for Friday, 20 January, for Lanzarote includes the wind of 15-16 knots and air temperature that will reach 22 degrees.
