09.10.2011 Quantum Racing won the TP52 World Championship for second time in a row. The American team is the defending Audi MedCup champion as well.
TP52 World Championship was held in Porto Cervo form 4 to 8 October. After first four races Quantum Racing, Gladiator and Paramount Murcia had an even score, but in the last three Quantum made a push to overtake the opponents. The Americans scored second place in the opening race on Saturday and then won the ultimate flight to capture the gold medal. Container is second, and Gladiator is third overall.
Quantum Racing became the TP52 world champion for the second time in a row and for third time in four years.
