The captain of the team Valentin Zavadnikov and the six participant of ‘Synergy’ sailing project are awarded the title of Masters of Sports, International class in sailing. «The victory depends on the technical condition of the vessel, its electronic equipment, sails and so on. It also depends on the team experience and teamwork. Mere luck is of great importance too. You see, the wind never blows in the same direction everywhere. The wind is not a fan. It always blows unsteadily across the surface in different directions. There are general tendencies – morning, evening, distance from the shore. But a stroke of luck plays a great role. Valentin Zavadnikov became a winner of the first Russian professional award of the yacht business "YACHT_stars 2006" in “Person of the Year” nomination.

The most important event in the world of sailing sport is from the beginning of the season is "Rolex Giraglia Cup" regatta. It is considered to be one of the oldest in Europe (it has been held since 1953). This year more than 200 yachts from different countries of the world fought for the first place. The victory in this regatta became the deserved award for ‘Synergy’ Russian team to finish the first part of the 2006 season.
Seasons 2004-2005.
After the successful 2004 season closure – 2-nd place in multi-day 630-mile «25th Rolex Middle Sea Race» on the route Malta – Sicily – Stromboli volcano – Lampedusa island – Malta «Synergy» sailing team began 2005 season with the victory in a prestigious international regatta «XXII Trofeo Academia Navale», which took place in April in Liborno. For 6 months of 2005 season «Synergy» sailing team covered 2385 sea miles to achieve the competition destinations, took part is 11 the most prestigious international regattas of ‘sailing circuit’ and won 3 first and 7 prize places:
1-st place, (3-d place overall) – XXII Trofeo Accademia Navale
1-st place, (1-st place overall) – II Regatta Ulysse Nardin

The 2005 season «Synergy» team closed with a victory in coastal lap of sailing regatta «26th Rolex Middle Sea Race» - the longest and the most challenging sailing competition of Europe. Russian «Synergy» yacht won 1-st place in a group and the 1-st place overall. The races, in which 15 yachts from 9 countries participated, took place on 19-20 of October.
